Gherghoomar began as a heartfelt dream, brought to life in January 2021 by Dr. Jyoti, a Ph.D. holder in Botany, who embarked on this journey with a 1.5-year-old baby. Today, she continues to pursue her passion while being a mother of two. With invaluable support from her family—parents, brother, and spouse—she navigated the challenges of starting her own business. She got her creative genes from her mom, infusing every design with her artistic essence. As Gherghoomar prepares to launch its website in 2025, the brand stands as a shining example of her commitment and the steadfast support of her family. Gherghoomar not only reflects the power of perseverance but also celebrates the strength of a loving support system, merging family values with entrepreneurial spirit.

Jyoti’s vision for Gherghoomar was brought to life with a logo inspired by one of her signature skirt collections, capturing the essence of the brand’s vibrant and elegant style. The logo symbolizes the unique flair that each piece of clothing carries. Mompreneur Magic
Mom of two- Mompreneur, Jyoti manages both being a mother and running Gherghoomar. She personally creates the brand’s size chart by working closely with tailors and trying on the designs herself. This hands-on approach makes sure each garment fits just right. Jyoti is involved in every part of the business, from designing collections to handling marketing and organizing photoshoots. Her commitment and active role in all these areas show her love for fashion and her dedication to making excellent products, blending her roles as a mother and business owner effortlessly.
Mom's Contribution
My mother has been my greatest support throughout this journey. Her expertise in creating exquisite embroidery into each garment has been invaluable in the process of designing and choosing the materials for our collections. Her unwavering support in trying out new looks has been my main source of motivation. She took such good care of the kids that I could concentrate only on building Gherghoomar, even when I was busy buying fabrics in Jaipur. Blending her skills with a strong family dedication, her constant backing and creative ideas have been fundamental to the growth of our business.
Husband's Support
Mr. Anil, my incredible husband, has been my biggest supporter. He takes all my photos and manages our kids so I can concentrate on Gherghoomar. When I was feeling anxious about launching my own brand, his motivation helped me to take the first step. His confidence in my concept and his constant encouragement have been the two main factors that helped me to juggle motherhood and manage a company. I am sincerely thankful for his affection, devotion, and unchanging aid, which have been the chief factors in making Gherghoomar a hit and keeping our family intact and content.
